Getting Ready For Halloween

I guess Ive proved to be no good at keeping up with this blogging stuff!!  Sheesh...here it is November 2nd, and Im blogging about BEFORE Halloween!!  Sheesh!!

Anyway...Lily and I a few nights before Halloween got to cut out [well I did], and she painted her pumpkin. 

She had fun, made a MESS, but had fun!! :)

And mine, well..same ol same ol..Jack-o-Lantern face!!  lol

Ok....HERE it is...

So, Lily has gone back and fourth about her Halloween costume..she made several choices, BUT after she decided to be Jessie [Cowgirl from Toy Story] for Halloween, she never once changed her mind, thats how I KNEW this was gonna be the costume this year!!  Looking at the Jessie costumes, I decided I could for sure make her an awesome costume, and there wasnt too much involved either! :)  Started with the RED hat, found one at Target, of course it is a womans hat but goes perfect with her boots...those boots...ANOTHER STORY!!  WHOAH...so...the boots...well back some time in the summer, Lily and I were at the mall with my mom, and in The Disney Store, they had THE cutest Red Sparkly Jessie boots EVER..my thoughts...WHO wears cowgirl boots in the middle of summer?!?  SO....I didnt buy them...instead I wait till October...and of COURSE they are no longer in the stores or online, but on eBay, and people done lost their darn minds on eBay..but long story short...I found a pair, got em...and I think maybe I might have been a little more excited than Lily over these boots..but she joined my excitement after she put em on!! :)  Here are some photos!!

Of course this is her Halloween Costume, BUT we are going to see Toy Story 3 On Ice Saturday, AND she is also gonna wear this to the show!! :)  Im gonna attempt a low pony tail with a braid and a yellow bow [[[duh]] ;) !!  SHOOOT...Ive gotta get on the brown belt kick...and FAST!!

Hello Hello!!  Sorry its been so long since I blogged!!  I dont know where the time goes!!  Lily and I along with my cousin Angel went to the zoo, a few Saturday's ago, it was SO much fun, of course I went around taking pics of these animals as if I hadnt seen them already 2 or 3 other times this summer! lol  We always enjoy it though!! :)  Here is a few I thought Id share! :)

Ive been getting my sew on, and my creativity kicked up a little the past few weeks...here are some photos of what Ive done! :)

Wanted to make this skirt FOREVER, so its not much for Fall, But Lily wears it anyway, ;)  Its got some brown, and with a pair of brown boots, she is good for the fall!! :)  The shirt is appliqued, Im SO happy I FINALLY decided to give Applique a TRY, I LOVE it and its MUCH easier than I thought it would be!!!! :)

Made Lily this Raven's Applique shirt as well!!

The back bottom, is embroidered with 'Baltimore Ravens' SUPER Cute!! :)

My sewing machine cover...shes been getting dusty lately as I have not been using her, and lord KNOWS where the dist in this house comes from!! Anyway...made her a cover to keep her from getting so dusty, since its far and few when I get her out for some fun! ;)

Had a BRIGHT idea with these canvas tote bags!!  Ruffles, Ruffles, Ruffles!!  :) 

Gonna share the costume...on the NEXT blog post ....lol...dont wanna make em too long..and Im trying to catch up from the last two weeks!!! :) 

Some Good 'ol Project 365...

Its been WAY too long!!  But here goes my best efforts to try and keep up this time!!

Lily at the Baltimore Zoo!! :)  She always has such a good time there!! :)

 

 Lily was a busy little bee this day, she was on a 'making picture' kick.  AND hanging them on the fridge herself as well!! :)

It's been 10 days....

And...Im still, today, not gonna have time to blog.  Not anything worth typing anyway!  lol  Ive been so busy and time just flies by.  But I DO have LOTS to share...hopefully Monday?!  lol  Till then....have a great weekend!! 

Sunday Funday... ♥ GO RAVENS!! :)

Just some photos to share, Sunday Funday's are Sundays in which the Ravens are playing, we have company [usually Blaine and Sabrina :)]  this time we had a special visitor, Blaines little girl, Jordyn.  We dont see her much at all, so it was good to see her and for the girls to play together.  They play so well!!  Didnt hear MUCH of a peep the whole day!! :)
